Part 4 :Edinburg and Potter

July 23rd, 2007

The trip to Edinburg was quite fun and memorable for me. It takes around 1 hour journey to there by bus.The view of the ciy was spectacular especially when you look it from above the hill (calton Hill).I have a fun time snapping pictures here and there.I then went to see Edinburg’s Castle. The experience of going into the castle was undeniable ,( although a part of me screaming due to its high fee entrance which is around RM77),since before this i only heard about this astounding building from fairy tale and story books. In edingburg also there’s a building call Balmore. Nothing special about this building except that  a part of Harry Potter’s book (no idea about the volume)  is written in there. And talking about Harry Potter’s book, the release of it’s final book was on last Saturday. After a dissapointment of its fifth movie, this book is like a source of remedy for it. Strangely ,the  last book come out when I’m In UK as i expected it to come out last year.So buying it here feels  a little bit difference than others since this is the place where the sories originate. Unfortunately, I don’t have time to read it as this 3 weeks are quite busy for me,packs with exam and assignment deadline….sigh….

Part 3-travel,travel and travel

July 9th, 2007

One thing about studying in foreign country is that you tend to travel a lot and not to forget taking a lot of picture.Although Glasgow is not as interesting as london,it has its own attraction. One of them is their museum ,Kelvingrove museum, which is astoundingly big where from outside it looks like a castle and believe me it is much exciting compared to Muzium Negara.Basically there are three floor.A lot of things such as mummies, art from italy, spain and etc, organ (the big piano with large whistle on it ),sculpture, fossil and dinosour replica, and the list goes on.After 3 hour exploring the so called chambers of musuem, still we didn’t manage to inspect all the items in it.I already plan to go again next time.So it’s proven that educational trip can be fun.Anyway, that’s all for now.

Scotland part 2

July 1st, 2007

Last week was quite fun for me. Me and my housemates prepare a variety of M’sian food everyday. Thanks to Ron who bring all the rempah ratus and perencah. On Monday we have ‘nasi ayam’,tuesday we have nasi goreng ,wednesday mee bandung(since i can’t find any tomato puree,i swicthed it to cream of tomato soup and it made the foods look orange instead the usual red),thursday mee goreng and friday bihun goreng.By know i already master the way to find cheap ingredient for cooking. Thanks to the senior for giving us this valueable info. Last week also i bought a new handphone and since this is the first time i used colour handphone,i’m quite excited about it. Still learning and experimenting its complicated function.Anyway, bye for now.
