go with different purpose come back with different purpose

May 5th, 2009

Last week  i just have a methadone on call on Sat and Sun. Bye bye to my free weekend. To erase these feeling of dissapointment, decided to go out . Decided to get a new watch since the old one broken already. Previously in Edinburg, found a very nice watch but too bad i didn’t buy at that time. So decided to go to the same shop found in KL to find the same one. Anyway it such a dissapointment since they don’t have that type anymore and the current design doesnt seem attractive to me. So while thinking that today i come back with empty handed ,suddenly saw this banner in front of shop. Some promotion i supposed…but then the middle one catch my eyes.”Limited to 15 units only,i-pod nano 3rd generation for the price of RM300 only”. Seriously the price is a bargain.Original price around RM800 to RM900. This can’t be true, maybe there’s a trick in the deal or  they run out of stock already are all the negative thinking i have at that time.Decided to ask the shop about the deal and luckily they still have it. See the thing properly…definitely a brand new one and not a clone one. So you guessed the outcome……bought it. Really cheer me up.Currently examining it to see what it can do. Love the sound and the quality of its image.

K-ON

May 4th, 2009

Recently , i started to watch again anime, stress reliever…maybe. Anyway , accidentally i found out this new anime called K-ON while searching for nice japanese song. Surprised to see that the song used as the opening and ending of this series become a hit in Japan. This picqued curiosity caused me to download the first episode. The first impression for its opening…interesting and unique.

Yui Hirasawa

Quit nice i supposed where the design followed the fast beat of the song.Really like the way they draw the guitars(Heritage Cherry Sunburst Gibson Les Paul Classic electric guitar and 3-Color Sunburst Fender Precision Bass). The name of the anime originate from the word Kei-Ongaku which means light music. Its about a group of  female students establishing a band. What make it interesting is that they all have unique characteristic. It’s surprising how the main character,Yui which has drifted mind and easy going eventually hand-up playing main guitar and not to consider an electric one. Quite an improvements. Mio (the black haired girl) on the other hand playing the bass guitar is the most mature but then quite afraid to hear to stories involving painful experiences which causes her to cover her ear and squad down. The pianist Tsumugi is damn rich girl and like to say words ma (for 6 times). And finally the drummer, ritsu hasa very go-lucky attitude and is the president of the club. What i like the most is the comedies they include in the anime. For example’spoiler ahead’ when the advisor give a special course of training for yui so that she will be able to sing and play at the same time ,the result were….nice playing of guitar but come out with awful voice. And they explained  it while making a cute pose as if can solve the problem

The series is still ongoing currently on episode 5.The ending song is nice and we can see the girls with a very unique of dressing and performance.Nice song too. Can’t wait for the next episodes.

Posting and my First Station

May 2nd, 2009

After the imu graduation, life was so boring. The box that i shipped from scotland still hasn’t arrived yet. Luckily, my psp and my 500Gb external hard-disk i brought by hand carry.  2 month past by after that and finally the letter for my posting arrived. Before opening the letter ,i was jokingly thinking, i attached to HKL before, maybe i will be posted there. The result come out and there you are my guessing was right on the spot. Another problems arrived, I supposed to find a place to stay. Luckily i have cousin staying in Gombak, so with his help i finally found a room to rent. The room  unfurnished  but large enough for two people to stay although it’s a little bit noisy. Not comfortable with the latter, planned to move out later on. The first day to lapor diri fall on Sunday but who will be working on Sunday. Therefore it was carried forward to Monday. That’s good but they still deduct your salary since you lapor a day later than the date specified in your posting letter, around Rm 100 per day. Although i only found out about this 1 month later. Glad to see that i’m not alone in this hospital, since there are few from my classmates attached here. After being lectured by KPF for code of ethics and so on, finally i was attached to my first satellite pharmacy…..dermatology. OMG, i don’t really know so much on skin disease and its medicines. Zenzen wasureteta(it means 100% forgotten) .

Achievement in Scotland

April 25th, 2009

After a while , i finally got the mood to start again this blogs. Been working on other blogs. So this time will be more about my life as prp (provisionally registered pharmacist). Before i start to babble about  my prp things, i like to recall back what i achieved at Scotland. First of all my gaming experience is increasing to 200%. Bought gamecube, psp, nds,and ps2 (bought ps2 near my final year exam, must be crazy). What the heck am i buying a lot of consoles. Anyway i won’t regret even once since my life will be so boring without them. In UK , the tv shows is so boring and i wonder which is better RTM or them. So basically the TV in the living room is conquered by me.. ha ha. There is always the same person complaining  cannot watch tv.A lot of games i had won, can’t imagine i finished the 3 final fantasy in a row (X, X-2,andXII) and kingdom heart series. So during that time midnight oil had been burned to crisp.  During this time i even  learn a lot of hacking things, started with psp, followed by game cube to finally ps2.   I also download a lot of animes with rapidshare, megaupload, bleachexile and anime-eden until my 500GB external hard disk full. That’s what we call taking advantage of the fast connection. Sadly my computer broke… damn virus until i had to buy a new laptop which i regret so much.Damn expensive of course. And the most sweet of all managed to get my degree after finally pass my PP3 exam.

kaerimas…………

August 17th, 2008

Finally, time to go back to Malaysia. My one year studying at here is something i won’t forget. Throughout this 1 year , i learn a lot of things not only from the aspect of academic but also other stuffs such as how the ‘real worlds’ looks like either from the good points to the bad ones. It is sad that i have to face the same situation again eventhough until this while i believed that  i won’t face it again.History does repeat. This  event somehow make me change the way i look on certain aspect of life. I do hope someday in the future, i might gain back the trust on this particular aspect of life. Anyway,  i started this blog when i came to Scotland and since i will be going back to Malaysia,it means that this might be my last post.Depends whether i  still has the mood to continue it or not………..

Bowling and Golden compass

December 30th, 2007

DDS test finally over. To celebrate it me and my housemates went out for a bowling game.Since this is  my first time playing bowling, the look of bowling ball make me thinks about the possibility of me throwing that heavy ball. However, surprisingly with the right size of ball it is not as heavy as i thought. Anyway, the game was quite fun and moreover i managed to score some point.

After that we watched a movie entitled ‘The Golden Compass’. The stories is nice but maybe my opinion is little bit bias since its my nature to like fantasy-type stories.I even bought the books about it.

my 22nd birthday in UK and treasure hunt

December 30th, 2007

2 weeks before the DDS test was my birthday. This is the second time my birthday being celebrated, the first one at IMU, and its in UK!!.Anyway i would like to thank those who celebrated my birthday especially to Anson, Shu NIng , Ron, Kah Wei ,Amir who organized this birthday celebration. Thanks guy ,really appreciated it and the cake was superb and most importantly it does not contain cheese.

The same following weekend,we have a treasure hunt game, organized by Kah wei. I felt quite excited about it since it is rumoured that the puzzle won’t be easy and so on .However the weather was not on ours side, it was raining yet we continued our games. The first puzzle was arranging pieces of pictures, the second one was finding a book in the library (how they managed to slip the envelope still wondered me), the third one crossword puzzle, and finally solving a riddles.Although our group didn’t won, it was quite fun and also a good ‘excercise’. After the treasure hunt i received a very special present ,my birthday card.

Botanical Garden

December 22nd, 2007

This post supposed to be put during autumn, however due to my laziness,it is been delayed till now ..winter season. The visit to  glasgow botanical garden during autumn is something which must not be missed. On the road,we can see the fallen of all sizes of leaves.Despites their differences in sizes, they all share a common characteristic which is their colour which can be either yellowish, oranges or reddish. The same things can be seen above the tree.In my mind , i was thinking this is how autumn feels,a unique experience that i won’t be forgotten. Now currently is winter season, hopefully i can see snow falling in glasgow although the chances are quite small.

Manchester part 2

December 21st, 2007

The next day ,we again take a walk around manchester and this time we visit a gallery or exhibition, and some exciting places.

Img_5653_1Here we found a lot of artistic works and some of them are giant replicas of stationery  such as eraser, scissor and so on.At here also i bought some postcard which later i post it to my address at glasgow.

Img_5676On our way to the famous dim sum restaurant ,we met this giant santa. Its amazing how the santa can eat this much.

Img_5712The Dim Sum restaurant (Tai Wu)was quite packed, and one of my friend comment its environment is exactly the same as the chinese restaurant. I managed to try one of the dim sum (the prawn one, okay) and its quite nice.Img_5727

Its quite pack that we need to wait to get a table. The prawn dim sum is the only diim sum i tried and the rest is Mc Donald.Even kena sound by the waiter there for eating outside food ;) .After that our group seperated, and the rest of my time was walking around Manchester, I didn’t went to old trafford since its only one big stadium. Finally i and one of my friend come back to Glasgow by bus,[almost miss it since we wait at the wrong place(in the bus station)and not the right one(the bus stop outside the bus station, its so weird, man] and it takes 5 hour to reach glasgow . Anyways, although  we are tired when we reached our home sweet home, the experience was priceless.

Manchester part 1

December 21st, 2007

Finally, i have the urge to write a new post, been busy and lazy last few months.Anyway, this time is about my trips to Manchester. For those Manchester United fans out there, to be here is a dream come true especially to Old Trafford where MU stadium is located. Since i’m not a football fan ,the trip to Manchester for me is just to gain experience and not to forget to have fun as well.At first,i was reluctant to go there as i need to send my intro draft in one weeks time and worst my notebook totally cannot be operated.Talk about luck.Regardless of the consequences, i finally decided to go at the last minute. After 3 hours in the train(most of the time was spent on watching scenery and playing games)we finally arrived to our destiny. My first impression sounded like this ,"why each time i go to new places ,it will always be colder than Glasgow and yet it is more colder than Edinburg". Despite the  cold weather, we managed to find the hostel. The hostel here is better than edinburg  since the room  is provided with socket. After equipping ourselves with cold-proof clothes we plan our first move and the first place was China Town.

After having our lunch there, we decided to go around manchester and here are some of the pictures of the place we go.

The ferris wheel above was so nice, its been a long time  and yet so expensive. We didn’t manage to take a ride there, since its already so late. However when i’ll visit to London someday, the first thing i  do will be riding their famous ferris wheel.
